The Gentleman, a brand known for its elegant and stylish men’s shoes, clothing, and accessories, situated in Bucharest, Romania, approached us to design and manufacture channel letters. The boutique store, for which we crafted this advertisement, is situated within Băneasa Shopping City, one of the malls in the area. To effectively showcase our client’s business, we suggested an unique solution for illuminated channel letters.
Channel letters with base and sides of patinated brass
We produced the Gentleman illuminated channel letters with a brass base and sides and a white acrylic face. Brass letters add luxury and sophistication to the advertisement and the brand they announce. These channel letters are ideal for showcasing various types of locations, including financial institutions, schools, universities, buildings with historical architectural styles, modern hipster establishments, and boutique shops. To create the effect of vintage letters with a retro appearance, the metal is treated with special chemicals to form a “patina” or so-called patinated channel letters. There are different technological methods for manufacturing brass letters, depending on the desired result. But they are always extremely effective, stylish and impressive.
LED illumination of the patinated letters adds a perfect finish
By adding LED illumination to brass letters, stunning advertisements are obtained that inevitably attract attention and support the company’s image. For the Gentleman store project, we used warm light LED modules from the Korean brand G.O.Q. LED. These letters enhance the vintage aesthetic by enveloping them in a gentle golden light, which beautifully complements the natural golden hue of the brass and its rich red-brown patina.
